Thanks to all who brought pets, photos and soft toys to our Pet Blessing service on Sunday 22 June. It was wonderful, they behaved beautifully! BAMPTON SCOUTS have assembled a mega insect house in the churchyard. The pallets were kindly donated by Bampton fresh. Slates are from Paul Edwards. Please add material for insects to live in. Wood with holes drilled in, cut up bamboo or hollow plants, bricks with holes in and similar.
Re-Gifting Stall was run by members of the church at Countdown to Christmas community event on 6th December.Thank you to everyone who gave so generously in support of this! A total of 190 POUNDS was raised and gifted to CHAT (Church Housing Action Team).
The Connaught Brass quintet, “a dynamic young ensemble who are quickly making a name for themselves in the chamber music world”, performed a concert in St Michael’s Church, Bampton on 5th October 2024.
Earlier this year, swift boxes were installed in the belfry of St Michael and All Angels Church, Bampton. A local resident, Fiona Clark, initiated and partially funded the project. This Easter we had an Easter Treasure Hunt in St Michael and All Angels’ Church. There were clues to find, puzzles to solve, word games, and even some bread and wine (buns and juice). Many thanks to our volunteers Becky, Vicky and Chris.
